QR Codes in the Classroom
This week, we hosted a PD session on QR Codes. These barcode-like images seem to be everywhere and can certainly be used in the classroom. At our school students are allowed to bring their own devices, so of course, we want to utilize the technology to connect students with content in meaningful ways. This video features 4 ways to integrate QR Codes into the meat of the lesson to enhance and enrich topics discussed. Ideas shared include using the codes in scavenger hunts, jigsaw activities, textbooks, and story telling.
